Privacy policy

smove takes your privacy seriously. This policy explains which personal data we process through this website, why we use it and how you can exercise your rights.

Last updated: 15 October 2026

1. Who to contact

smove is your point of contact for the processing described here. You can reach us at Jan van Galenstraat 51, 1056 BH Amsterdam, or via info@wesmove.com.

2. Which data do we process?

When you contact us or fill in a form, we process your name and email address, as well as any telephone number, club, studio or company details you provide. Depending on the form, this may include group size, the requested session type and your message. Only provide information needed for your enquiry; do not include sensitive health information.

The private investor area uses a password and a session cookie to control access; it does not require a personal account or profile. Any separate platform or academy account is outside the scope of these website forms. Its applicable privacy information should explain account data before you register.

3. Why do we use your data?

We use information you submit to answer your enquiry, discuss an experience or collaboration, prepare a quote and arrange agreed services. Where processing is needed to take steps at your request before a contract or to perform a contract, that is the legal basis. For other correspondence, our legitimate interest is to respond to relevant enquiries, while taking your privacy into account. Legal obligations may require us to retain administrative information.

4. Access, service providers & security

Your enquiry is processed through our website and email services so smove can respond. Authorised people at smove may therefore access the information you submit. Technical providers may process it where necessary to provide hosting, security and email delivery. We do not sell your personal data.

Personal data must be protected with appropriate technical and organisational measures, restricted access and agreements with processors where required. If a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, the applicable GDPR safeguards must be in place. Contact us for more information about the providers and safeguards relevant to your data.

5. How long is data retained?

We retain personal data only as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected, including handling your enquiry or collaboration, and any applicable statutory retention obligation. The period depends on the type of information and the relationship. You can ask us which retention period applies to your data.

6. Cookies, preferences & video

This website uses functional storage: your language preference is saved in your browser, and the private investor area uses a session cookie to remember authorised access. You can remove cookies and saved preferences through your browser settings; this may reset your language choice or sign you out of the private area.

No separate advertising tracker or analytics script has been added to the website. Hosting providers may process technical request information for operation, security and service statistics. This is not a guarantee that all technical data is anonymous.

The companies page contains a YouTube video using the privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com embed. Loading or playing the video may still send technical data, such as your IP address, to YouTube/Google. Privacy-enhanced mode does not mean that no data is processed. See Google privacy policy.

7. Your privacy rights

Under the GDPR, you may request access to your data, correction, erasure, restriction of processing or data portability, where applicable. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent if processing relies on consent. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing.

Send your request to info@wesmove.com. We may need to verify your identity without asking for more data than necessary. In principle, we respond within one month; a lawful extension may apply to complex requests.

You may lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) or the supervisory authority in your country. autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl

8. Changes & questions

We may update this policy when our services or data processing change. The date above shows the latest revision. Questions about your data? Email info@wesmove.com.
